Beyond the boundary of the Wallkill River and nestled in the Shawangunk Mountain range, Shawangunk Fish & Game Association was founded in 1902 as a non-profit fish and game organization providing entry to its citizenry a setting to come and enjoy the outdoor sports nature offers, property amenities abound, education in the areas of sportsmen interest and wildlife conservation, ranges to practice their sports on, competitions, social events and more.  Opening its doors to the surrounding communities of Middletown, Goshen, Montgomery, New Paltz, Woodstock, Newburgh, Port Jervis, Bloomingburg, Monticello, Poughkeepsie, New York and more; their goal was to serve all upstate counties with an all inclusive club that reached Orange County, Sullivan County, Ulster County, Duchess County and Rockland County New York.  Now with an ever growing membership, membership has grown into the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Manhattan and it boroughs in New York City.  They all come to enjoy what our club provides and the beautiful outdoor properties.
