Beyond the boundary of the Wallkill River and nestled in the Shawangunk Mountain range, Shawangunk Fish & Game Association was founded in 1902 as a non-profit fish and game organization providing entry to its citizenry a setting to come and enjoy the outdoor sports nature offers, property amenities abound, education in the areas of sportsmen interest and wildlife conservation, ranges to practice their sports on, competitions, social events and more. Opening its doors to the surrounding communities of Middletown, Goshen, Montgomery, New Paltz, Woodstock, Newburgh, Port Jervis, Bloomingburg, Monticello, Poughkeepsie, New York and more; their goal was to serve all upstate counties with an all inclusive club that reached Orange County, Sullivan County, Ulster County, Duchess County and Rockland County New York. Now with an ever growing membership, membership has grown into the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Manhattan and it boroughs in New York City. They all come to enjoy what our club provides and the beautiful outdoor properties.
Our mission... to create a safe outdoor experience in the Hudson Valley for those individuals and families that love nature, wildlife, hunting, fishing, rifle and pistol range shooting, trapshooting, archery, camping, hiking, education, enduring friendships, social events and competitions to name a few of the adventures and access we offer year round. We take great pride in maintaining a club rich in history, tradition and the conservation of it's wildlife within its region. With a relaxing atmosphere, Shawangunk Fish and Game Association offers annual memberships for all ages including our most popular family membership. Recently, we've opened a public shooting range for our community to enjoy as well. All in all, Shawangunk Fish and Game Association is a club that has it all which is what we want available for our membership and community.
Affiliated with the NRA and ATA, Shawangunk Fish and Game Association also supports like-minded organizations locally, partnering for competitions and gatherings year round. We invite you to visit our facilities and encourage you to attend one of our monthly meetings.
